Our bungalows
In the HEART OF THE AMAZON
We have 10 cabins that will transport you to a world fully integrated with the environment. The decoration is perfectly blended with the forest, and the palm roofs and windows are reinforced with mosquito nets that protect the visitor and allow us to enjoy the incredible view of the surrounding landscape.
All the cabins are named after the Kukama Kukamiria culture, using the cardinal numbers (wepe = 1, mukuika = 2, mutsapirika = 3, iruaka = 4, pichka = 5, tsukta = 6, kantsi = 7, putsa = 8, itskun = 9, chunka = 10). Each cabin has a private bathroom, mosquito nets on each bed, amenities and a terrace with hammock for a pleasant rest overlooking the gardens.

Our Private Reserve
Nature has given the Pacaya Samiria Amazon Lodge the privilege of being the only Ecolodge located on 130 hectares of primary forest (unaltered). We consider its conservation one of our biggest responsibilities.
All visitors will have access to this Private Reserve and the incredible biodiversity it houses including more than 200 species of fauna (large and small mammals, birds, reptiles, amphibians) and more than 300 species of flora (timber trees and medicinal plants, etc.) through a set of thematic activities: Primates watching route; reptile watching route; Shiringa (rubber tree) route; observation of 107 species of birds; and day and night excursions that enrich our visitors’ experience.
The characteristics and conditions of the Private Reserve are generating a “biological corridor” that could increase the number of species that it houses, welcoming those that escape from being disturbed in the surrounding areas.
The Private Reserve is under frequent research by the Pacaya Samiria Amazon Lodge itself and by scientists who are experts in Amazonian flora and fauna.
